During these days, hundreds of events organised in all parts of Europe will show, promote, discuss and celebrate renewable energy and energy efficiency - and you can be a part of it.

Energy day:

Any non-profit event that promotes energy efficiency or renewable energy can join – from exhibitions, conferences, online events, performances to guided tours, open door days, workshops, media campaigns, concerts and much more.

Those interested in organising an Energy day in Brussels or in their region within these dates information on how to register with your event will be available on this page soon.

Sustainable Energy Europe Award:

If you manage an outstanding sustainable energy project, you are involved in eco-innovation and currently implementing initiatives in the field of energy efficiency, clean transport or the production of renewable energy, whether a public or private actor, you can compete for energy awards designed to highlight the successes of the most outstanding, ambitious and innovative sustainable energy projects in Europe.

The forthcoming 6th edition of the Sustainable Energy Europe Awards will reward ongoing exemplary projects in five categories: learning, communicating, travelling, consuming and living. Submit your project, register and create an account or sign in to complete the application form (http://www.eusew.eu/awards-competition).

Targeting energy actors at the local and regional level, the ManagEnergy Local Energy Action Award rewards some of the most outstanding sustainable energy projects, completed or ongoing. You can present your work, share ideas and gain visibility by submitting your best case studies now (http://www.managenergy.net/casestudies_submission.html).

The deadline for submissions is 29 February 2012. Please note that, if eligible, you can apply to both award schemes.

For its next edition, the Sustainable Energy Europe Award ceremony will host the ManagEnergy Local Energy Action Award. The ceremony will take place during the EUSEW 2012.
