Atlantic Forum “Coastal and Deep Sea Natural Resources'

The European Commission launched a maritime strategy for the Atlantic Ocean, which outlined a number of areas where we believe that there is scope for EU-level action to support the coastal and maritime economies of the Member States along the Atlantic seaboard.

The first Event of the Atlantic Forum, under the theme “Coastal and Deep Sea Natural Resources” will to be held in Portugal, in Faial Island – Azores, on the 21st of September of 2012.
The Atlantic Forum was established to bring together the key players at both national and regional level to drive this process forward, namely, to support the European Commission in preparing the strategy’s action plan.
