“Atlantic Blue Growth”- National French Event

Organised by the Agglomeration of La Rochelle and the Atlantic Action Plan Support Team, in conjunction with the General Secretariat of the Sea and DG MARE of the European Commission.

This event with national character was dedicated to the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan. Tamara Guirao, coordinator of the Conference of Atlantic Arc Cities, intervened to explain the opportunities of the new INTERREG programs such as Atlantic Area, SUDOE and Europe.
Thus, the day of 8 June was divided into:
1. A morning to inform the participants about:
- the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan with DG MARE of the European Commission, the General Secretariat of the Sea (France), and the Support Team for the Atlantic Action Plan
- eligible sources of funding at European, national and local level (European Structural and Investment Funds, Interreg, LIFE, Horizon2020, etc)
2. An afternoon to present and collect ideas for projects falling within the Atlantic Action Plan regarding its topics (in the four main priorities of the Plan) and geographic scope.
