La Rochelle hosted, on 20th and 21st February 2014, at the Engineers’ School EIGSI, the Climatlantic Mobility Forum, which is the first of a serie of four thematic forums to communicate the strategy defined by this project (http://www.eixoatlantico.com/sites/default/files/CLIMATLANTIC_final%20results.pdf) .
The interregional mobility deserves a forum exclusively devoted to it. Among the problems of urban mobility and long distance journeys, the interregional mobility is situated in a not much studied area and still badly controlled despite the fact that it is vital for the life between territories. The design of the Forum favoured a cross-wise and multidisciplinary approach about this specific topic.
With more than 100 participants, the forum was organized around 24 speeches of researchers, professionals and institutions from countries that constitute the Atlantic Arc (UK, Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal). All speeches can be consulted on the PDF attached below
Next forum, this time about Energy, will be organised in Ireland next 12 and 13 March.
